Vice-president and Chairman, legislative committee Chiropractic Association of Arizona, 1981-82 and 1984-85.

My administration brought the passage of insurance equality legislation resulting in the establishment of full general insurance and industrial parity for the chiropractic profession in Arizona. During my tenure, the Arizona chiropractic profession gained its first change in scope of practice legislation since 1921. Passage of the new law resulted in the recognition of Arizona chiropractors as primary care health care providers capable of making a differential diagnosis and expanded the scope of chiropractic treatment to include physical medicine modalities and acupuncture.
